Brentford vs. Walsall

Tomorrow, Brentford are to host Walsall in NPower League 1.

So, whats happened in the last week at Griffin Park?

On Sunday, Brentford played away at near neighbors Chelsea in the F.A Cup 4th round replay, the Bees and the Bees fans performed impressively throughout the tie but the European Champions class shown through and it was indeed Chelsea who went through by a somewhat flattering 4 goals to 0. The Buzz Blog will have a special report on the game in the coming days...

On Tuesday the club announced the loan signing of Bradley Wright-Phillips from Charlton Athletic. Bradley's career started at Manchester City where he played 32 times scoring just 2, he then moved on to Southampton played 111 times scored 22, next stop was Plymouth Argyle [17 in 32]. His next stop was Charlton from which he joins the Bees. Last season Bradley scored 22 goals in 42 appearance's to help Charlton win the NPower League 1 title. The signing of B.W-P is clear sign of Uwe Rosler's intentions for the club to go on and succeed.

Brentford have also brought in Liam Moore from Leicester City. Liam is defender by trade and comes in with Championship experience so the future is looking bright for Uwe Rosler's Barmy Army!

Yesterday, Stefan Tomasevic from the Bees youth team has received a call up onto a Montenegro under 19 training camp. Congratulations to Stefan

Keeping with the youth team, they have made the Middlesex cup final after a 5-4 penalty win against Harefield United

So, moving on to the game tomorrow...

I see it and all the games remaining in the league campaign as a cup final. We currently sit in 7th in the league table and Walsall are in 9th.

The Bees have 1 or 2 games in hand over all the up and down around us right down to MK Dons in 12th.

Walsall have been relieved of their hosting duties against the Bees as they have done that twice this season in the Capital 1 cup and league 1. Brentford lost 1-0 in the Capital 1 cup, to which I add in good luck to Npower League 2 underdogs Bradford City for the final vs. Swansea City for this weekends final at Wembley Stadium!

The league match away at the Bank's Stadium finished 2-2.

I hope that Brentford will now focus on their league campaign and really push for at least the play-off's!

I am predicting a 2-0 Bees win with Bradley W-P to start and score first then Harry Forrester to round things off
