Brentford vs. Scunthorpe preview.

Brentford will line up against Scunthorpe United at Griffin Park on Saturday on the back of a 2-1 win away at Crawley Town on Tuesday night, thanks to goals from Sam Saunders and Clayton Donaldson.

This was a much needed win as the Bees need to make there most of their games in hand in the run to end of the season, after all we still have a chance of winning the league this season...

I am not predicting a high scoring match on Saturday as in the last the 3 meetings of these sides there have been just 2 goals and they where both scored in October of 2012 this season.

Current form tables [last 6 games] would suggest that Scunthorpe to be the favored side. If the NPower League 1 season started on the 5th of February then Scunny would be in 4th, Brentford in 10th and Hartlepool United would be top of the league and MK Dons would be bottom.

However, the league started in August 2012 and Scunthorpe sit in 19th so are in touching distance of the drop zone, Brentford are the complete opposite-the Bees are in touching distance of automatic promotion in 5th place.

With all this said, I still think Brentford will get the better of Scunny and I predict a 2-1 win.

I look back on previous line ups and form and I would think Rosler will select the following line up:

Moore, Logan, Tony Craig, Harlee Dean, Bidwell, Forrester, Adeyemi, Jonathan Douglas, Trotta, Bradley Wright-Phillips, Clayton Donaldson. I think the Bees will play the 4-4-1-1 formation so both Bradley W-P and Clayton can have a free moving role up top.
