Brentford vs. Stevenage preview

This is a match that for Brentford fans at least has been slightly overshadowed by a game against Chelsea on Sunday in the F.A Cup. Having said this I feel that we need to put that to one side and focus on the league campaign that could well see the Bees gain promotion...

Ahead of the game Stevenage sit in 14th and the Bees are in 6th place.

Stevenage have scored 38 goals in the league this term and the Bees have 42 to their name.

Last 3 results:

Carlisle 2 Stevenage 1, Stevenage 2 Notts County 0, Stevenage 0 Leyton Orient 1

Brentford 2 Bury 2, Yeovil 3 Bees 0, Bees 2 Chelsea 2

Key players:

For the away side Lucas Akins

The forward has 11 goals in all competitions for Stevanage this term and seems to be there main threat.

For Brentford there are a few names but for me it has to go Clayton Donaldson

Clayton has 19 goals this year but since the arrival of Marcello Trotta he has played a wider role in order to use his strength to push through defenses.

I am predicting a 2-1 Bees win
