So we are half way through January, the time of year most lower league managers have to fight to keep hold of their prize assets. Brentford have a sad history of letting their best players go in these transfer windows. These players go on to Bee real successes at 'bigger clubs'.
A few examples of this are players such as Stephen Hunt, Michael Turner, Sam Sodje and Jay Tabb. These players have gone on to make their mark in the top league of English football league.
When these players where at Brentford, the team was seen as going places and then it all went wrong when they left...
Many would say that the current generation assembled at Griffin park have qualities to match up to those of yesteryear if we can keep them with us. Players such as Clayton Donaldson and the nameless one have been performing well so their performances have caught the eye but I hope that we can keep them with us.
As for players coming in to the club; I don't think that Rosler will feel the need to bring anyone in but many Bees fans would of herd the news that former fans favorite Jay Tabb can leave Reading and began to wonder if he could return to Griffin park?
