Brentford vs. Doncaster preview

So its come down to this...

Brentford's chances of automatic promotion have come down to the last game of the season at Griffin Park vs. Doncaster Rovers who could be promoted as league 1 champions on Saturday [if other results go there way] but of course, we 'beelive' the Bees are going up!

Here is how I think Brentford will line up:

Now the Bees have a history of being at home and getting promoted on the last day of the season as under Andy Scott in 2009 we beat Luton Town at a packed out Griffin Park

The only player left at Griffin Park from the league 2 title team is Kevin O'Connor and after a injury hit season, King Kev is back and ready to be part of the squad for Saturday and I think he could well be influential both on the pitch and in the changing rooms and may well play a big role in getting the Bees up to the promised land of the championship...

So with all that said, I am going for a nail biting 2-1 Bees win on Saturday with Clayton getting the double and then a mass pitch invasion afterwards

Hartlepool 1 Brentford 1 and the the run in

Hello and welcome back to the Buzz Blog

We have been away for a while but we are back!

Today [20th April] saw Brentford draw 1-1 with Hartlepool United and with other results it means the Bees must win their last game against Doncaster on April 27th. This game looks certain to be a sell out and I hope that will encourage Uwe and the team to do the business...

Marcello Trotta was on the score sheet late in
the first half to draw level after and early goal for the doomed Hartlepool. This result means Brentford's destiny is still in their own hands so c'mon you Bees

In other news, today saw AFC Bournemouth promoted to the NPower Championship so congrats to former Bee Lewis Grabban and the lads at AFC Bournemouth

To close, I would encourage all you Bees fans to get behind and the boys and make as much noise as you can next Saturday, lets get Griffin Park bouncing and propel Brentford into the Championship!!!
