Brentford entered into this game on the back of a 2-1 win vs. promotion rivals Swindon Town whilst PNE traveled down to Griffin Park off the back of wins vs. Stevenage and Notts County.
I predicted a 2-0 win for the Bees in this game but that wasn't to be.
The game started well for the Bees and dominated large parts of the game but did everything but score. There where a few star performances from Brentford players including Tom Adeyemi and Bradley Wright-Phillips but it was Sam Saunders who stood out.
It was Saunders who got the 3 points for Brentford after he was brought down by former Bee John Mousinho inside the penalty area, Sam Saunders then stepped up to take the penalty and smashed home in the 93rd minute to keep the 3 points at Griffin Park.
After the game Uwe Rosler spoke about going 2nd and said it was too early to think about it, they must be there at the end of the season...
I hope we the team can go forth and play with the mindset we used for the Chelsea home game and play in a relaxed but determined attitude and I would add that the trip to Sheffield United may well be decisive to our success.

Brentford vs. Stevenage preview
Brentford travel to tomorrows game on the back of a 1-0 win over Scunthorpe United at Griffin Park on Saturday. Tom Adeyemi scored in the second half to earn the Bees all 3 points.
This win moved the Bees upto 4th place in the league 1 table.
Stevenage lost 2-0 to Colchester United on Saturday and sit in 15th in the league.
When Brentford hosted Stevenage the Bees won 2-0 with goals from Marcello Trotta and Tom Adeyemi.
I predict the same score as back in Febuary with Jake Reeves starting and potentialy playing a key role as he did on Saturday, Rosler has plenty of young talent at his disposal so may well rotate his squad as he did on Saturday...
Brentford to win 2-0, Bradley W-P and Trotta to score.

Brentford 1 Scunthorpe United 0
This was a match that seemed destined to be a close game score wise and form tables suggested that Scunthorpe where favourites despite league standing.
Before the match the club welcomed Volunteer Police Cadets into the ground on a kind of recruitment drive. Interestingly the leaflet said 'Volunteer with us. Be part of building the future of London' think of this what you will...
Also before the match the club welcomed Abbey Rangers under 11's to be the flag bearers for the teams entrance. Whilst waiting to go on to the hallowed turf, the team where delighted when Brentford's number 1 goalkeeper Richard Lee and number 7 Sam Saunders popped over for quick photo with the young lads.
I think the community spirit of the club is something that really needs to be applauded as it is fantastic that unlike certain other big London clubs, Brentford players are often seen having photos with and signing autographs for fans of all ages! I do hope that this continues as the club moves up the leagues...
Now, back to the match...
The first half started off close with Scunny having the better of proceedings early on. After this Brentford mounted on the pressure and went close through Sam Saunders from a free kick after a blatent hand ball by the Scunthorpe keeper who couldnt seem to catch a ball.
The second half was much the same as the 1st, Brentford seemed to dominate with occasional attacks from Scunny who briefly called Simon Moore into action.
The crucial blow occured in the 70th minute when substitute Tom Adeyemi pounced on a loose ball inside the box and fired home! BEES 1 SCUNNY 0
After the goal Brentford continued to dominate with Bradley Wright-Phillips going close and the Bees had other chances created by substitute Stuart Dallas. There was no comeback from the visitors, even with former Bee, Mike Grella coming on as a late sub.
The match finished Brentford 1 Scunthorpe United 0.
The Buzz Blog man of the match goes to Brentford midfielder JAKE REEVES.
Brentford move up into 4th spot and Scunny go down to 20th.
